Digital presence: Alte Hammerschmiede

We had the privilege of implementing a very special project for the Alte Hammerschmiede Nebikon. We developed the entire digital presence for this historic venue, from the basic design to the finished website. Drawing on the building’s 130-year history, its industrial character, and the unique atmosphere on site, we translated both the exterior and interior of the Hammerschmiede into the digital space. The result is a unique corporate design, including a logo, imagery, and a sleek, completely custom-made one-pager with a dynamic inquiry module.

For us at ImbachDEV, this project is special in several ways: It is the first time that we have been responsible for a website from A to Z: conception, design, and implementation from a single source.

And it is a project with personal significance. Because it was here, in the Alte Hammerschmiede in Nebikon, that the company IMBACH & CIE AG | Solutions in Metal (not ImbachDEV, but our ancestors long ago) began operations in 1889. In the 1960s, the location was relocated – the Alte Hammerschmiede remained as a witness to industrial history. Today, the family business is still run by members of our family. This makes it all the more special for us that the Alte Hammerschmiede was given a new use in fall 2025 as an event venue and meeting place.

With our contribution, we were able to give this place a contemporary look. A corporate design that picks up on history and carries it forward, and a website that brings the character of the Alte Hammerschmiede to life in the digital space.
